Sport Funding

 

Our allocation in 2023/24 (£17,820)

The PE and school sport funding is additional funding, given to all primary schools. Schools are free to decide how to allocate this funding to best support the improvement in breadth and quality of PE and sport provision. This includes increasing participation, developing healthy lifestyles and allowing further opportunity for pupils to reach performance levels they are capable of.

PE and School Sport funding is allocated following a needs analysis which identifies priority areas for development across the whole school, amongst target groups and to individuals.

Swimming information:

35% of current Year 6 swim competently, confidently and proficiently over a distance of at least 25 metres.

35% can use a range of strokes effectively and

35% can perform safe self-rescue in different water-based situations.
